A plea to the universe to help me believe...*

Its quarter past 7 in the morning. I should be sound asleep or preparing to wake up after a well-rested night but I have been up for the past two hours-tossing and turning. I’m usually a really sound sleeper but ever since my return from New York (4 nights ago) I have been really on the edge. The most obvious would be jetlag but over and above that I feel wired the wrong way. Even if I sleep, I wake up in cold sweat or in doubt, a panic situation is beginning to arise and I can sense it.

It most certainly has to do with my GMAT, which is in a few weeks - 4 to be precise. I feel like I’m not doing enough and yet again don’t know what more to do. I am really trying or I feel like I’m trying. I don’t mean to whine, people take it all the time but I feel like this is becoming a me-against-myself-situation. I’m stuck in a rut and I feel like if I keep at it I’m going to make progress and I have but just not enough.

I really need to believe that I can and will do this. It might be hard but not rocket science. I need to push myself against all odds and work towards this for right now, there is nothing more than this that I want (of course, with the exceptions of a few things) but I have taken away from what I was doing and I need to know that this has been worth the while.

So my plea to you is to help me believe. Believe in myself, in whatever I have done so far and the ability to push the boundaries and work my way up there. Believe that this is for me even when it may seem blip and unlikely. More importantly, believe that bigger and better things are destined for me and that I need to stay focused and keep at it without giving up !
